In an architecturally prestigious setting in Rapallo, the work on Villa Buenos Aires involved an extension in a metal structure and the construction of a new roof, designed to make the attic habitable.
The roof was built using a mixed structure of steel and glued-laminated timber, chosen to ensure lightness, strength, and a minimal footprint, in keeping with the characteristics of the existing building and the functional requirements of the new volume.
